解説・あらすじ
ゲイの老人の性と苦悩を描き、国内外で高い評価を得た東海林毅監督の同名短編を、東海林監督が自身初のオリジナル長編として再映画化。

自身の衰えていく容姿に耐えられず、作家としてもスランプ状態にあるゲイでナルシストの老絵本作家・山崎。ある日、ウリセンの青年レオと出会った山崎はレオの若さと美しさに打ちのめされる。レオが山崎の代表作を心の糧にして育ったことを知った山崎は、生涯で初めて自分以外の存在に恋心を抱く。そんな山崎にレオは見知らぬ父親の面影を重ね合わせていた。

「太陽」「沈黙　サイレンス」の田村泰二郎が短編版から引き続き山崎役を、「国民の選択」「黄龍の村」の水石亜飛夢がレオ役をそれぞれ演じるほか、日出郎、モロ師岡、津田寛治、千葉雅子、村井國夫らが脇を固める。
